B Pharmacy admission process is done on the basis of performance based on one of the entrance examinations. Few private colleges take admission on the basis of marks obtained in Class XII (Science).

Lateral admission to B Pharma is also offered to students with D Pharmacy (Diploma in Pharmacy) qualification. Lateral entry system allows students to get admission into the second year BPharm directly. Hence, in 3 years students can earn a BPharm degree, instead of 4 years (normal entry).
