Nitte
College of Pharmacy Direct Admission is provided by us. Nitte University is
situated in Mangalore in Karnataka state of India. Established in 1979, and it
is affiliated to Nitte University. Recognizing the growing need and awareness
for rehabilitation medicine in the field of health care, NET established the
Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy in 1997. The Institute is now a constituent
unit of the Nitte University, recognized by the Government of India and the
Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP). We have an educational
consultancy called TRUMP Career Solution. We Provide Direct Pharmacy Admission.
About College
NitteGulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (NGSMIP) aims to
offer several job oriented professional courses in pharmacy like Bachelor in
pharmacy, Master in pharmacy, Pharma D. The college is situated in Mangalore
and served as a center for doctoral study and quality research. Its
undergraduate course is licensed by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
College
is well equipped with all the necessary and relevant facilities like
availability of hostels, modern and advanced libraries and laboratories. There
are separate hostels for boys and girls. Labs are well designed to provide
practical training and wide range of knowledge to the students. One can find
access to the large number of text books, reference books in the library.

Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to
be University), engaged in imparting education in pharmaceutical sciences has
adopted this quality policy to achieve its vision.
The
college shall ensure that the best teaching – learning including most modern
laboratory facilities are provided. The focus shall be on creating competent,
skilled man power to face the scientific and social challenges with a high
degree of credibility, integrity, ethical standards and social concern.
Qualified,
experienced faculty shall be appointed and sustained. An environment for
quality research shall be created for the faculty to pursue the new horizons of
knowledge.
In
addition to curricular excellence, the students shall be trained in soft skills
such as communication skill, leadership skill, time management; inculcate human
values and professional ethics.
The
institute shall adopt technology in teaching, training & evaluations of
students and staff. Effective and optimal management of the institutional
infrastructure, human resource and social contacts shall be ensured by adopting
technology. Academic and governing policies shall be dynamic and versatile so
that there shall be continuous refinement & innovation and adoption new
technologies.
Library Facility in College

library provides several books and journals to the faculties and students. There
are around 3240 titles, 11148 volumes,1588 Reference books, 9560 Textbooks, 47
Journals, 982 online publications, 533 P.G Dissertation, 1028 Bound volumes,49+
PH D Thesis, 482 Compact Discs, 3077 e-books, 9 Magazines, 8 Newspapers and
3840 books in Book bank. All the books are arranged according to department and
subject wise so that we can find the books easily.
Indian
Pharmacopoeia, British Pharmacopoeia and U.S Pharmacopoeia are also available
in Library. The library is also provided with Wi-Fi to access online journals
and research contents. Besides books and journals, there are many CD’s
regarding subjects. Finally, NGSMIPS library is the delivery room for the birth
of ideas, a place where history comes to life.
The
library provides plagiarism checking service using Turnitin software to the
students and faculties. Library works on extended timing during examination
periods for the benefit of students aiding their preparation for exams.
